Amazing day today! Skyline finally made the announcement that we’re playing at London’s Wireless Festival this summer which is so exciting! We’ve been itching to tell everyone since we knew a few weeks ago haha but it’s now official and we’re pictured on their website if anyone’s interested http://www.wirelessfestival.co.uk/line-up/artist/skyline

In further news, I also had my driving test today, and I passed on my first time! Really pleased about that too and I did my first solo drive this evening which wasn’t as scary as I had thought it would be :) Couldn’t think of a better way to finish my 365 project, and end my first year on shuttercal!

Had a pretty good, if not especially productive, first day of study leave :) Watched the Desperate Housewives finale too with Ben, Akalya and Kate - was supposed to go to Akalya’s house but it literally would have occupied my whole day so we managed to successfully organise it via Skype haha. Today brought the second of two great days! Spent the morning organising May Ball photos which all look so awesome! Had a super long driving lesson but if I pass my test on Tuesday then it’s the last one ever! Had a show tonight with Skyline at Yael’s old primary school, which was good fun even if we only got to play three songs :) The event was an auction, and one of the lots was an 8 hour recording session at Universal Studios, which we won the bid for which is exceptionally exciting too! :D

Last ever day at high school! It hasn’t sunk in at all that I’m leaving and I’m still in denial but today was pretty special :) The governors put on a valedictory breakfast before school which was so delicious! I then had my last two lessons and a free before our leavers’ assembly. I was feeling pretty good and managed to keep myself composed, but it didn’t take long before the vast majority of the year, including myself, were bawling, which continued until we left to go home at one hahaha. Such an emotional assembly! Had a quick nap as I had a rough headache all day which sucked, then I went to Chris’ where I was getting ready for May Ball :D Managed to squeeze myself into my dress, and I had the most amazing time! Everyone looked stunning and it was just one of the best nights of my life! Never want May 11 to ever end!

Had an excellent day today :D Had two last lessons today which were fun :) My geography teacher set us up a whole breakfast which only led to me eating three crumpets with nutella haha. Really need to tone it down tomorrow before squeezing into my May Ball dress! Had my hair dyed this afternoon as well and I love it as I always do :) So excited for the last day/May Ball! :D

Eeexcellent day :D Had a timed French essay this morning during which my brain just melted and I forget everything I knew so that wasn’t so good, but that was my only proper lesson as my geography teacher was holding interviews and it was our last physics lesson so we played Sporcle haha. Had my nails and eyebrows done for May Ball tonight - guitarists rarely get the chance to have such well manicured nails haha. I doubt it’ll last much longer than May Ball if that haha.

Turns out I had a pretty good day today :) Was a bit fragile this morning - nausea and headaches setting in which wasn’t so great, but I still managed to get some physics done. Had a power nap and then band rehearsal, trying to get some new videos done. We managed to get a few, but the vast majority of stuff we record is hilarious but unproductive haha. I have a couple of particular favourites ;) Obviously I didn’t take this but it’s a screen cap from my favourite blooper which I want to name “Tristan!”. Was supposed to have physics tuition this evening but my tutor never turned up haha, was exhausted and moody anyway so probably for the better haha. Excited/anxious to start my last four days of school ever! D: :) :(

Awesome day - Chris had is barbecue for his birthday which was a lot of fun :) I managed to eat five burgers and some chicken without feeling full which baffled even me, and then me, Steph and Liam spontaneously decided to go out with the guys to the pub afterwards which was fun :) Thank god it’s a three day weekend though haha.

Happy Star Wars day! Had such an unorthodox day - French A2 was nowhere near as successful as AS unfortunately. My debate went pretty much fine, but being asked about the EU, free labour movement, nuclear energy and tourism in underdeveloped countries threw me just a tad. Had band rehearsal and a photoshoot with Skyline which was both stressful and fun - such exciting things coming up for us! Looking forward to this weekend so much before another busy week :)

Made it to the third day of the month before a photo of food appeared! Had an excellent day today :) My French AS speaking retake went really well this morning - out examiner is adorable and it’s made me feel so much better about tomorrow’s exam :) Made some cookies tonight for Chris’ birthday - the first part of this week’s baking. I do intend to fatten him up for his birthday haha. Went and voted tonight too - for my second and third time haha!

Today had its ups and downs. Got an A in my geography mock essay thing which was good, especially as I’d done basically no work for it :) My physics mark was nowhere near as successful, but I shall put it behind me as swiftly as is possible haha. Did a trial run of my entire outfit for May Ball and I think I’ve got it down now :) Finally sorted my make up - finally found the right combination of things to stop me from looking orange. Really looking forward to it!

Excellent start to a new month :) Had my last French lesson with one of my teachers which was a bum, and I think it would have been sadder if it was closer to the end and what’s happening had actually sunk in. She brought us a breakfast of croissants, pain au chocolats, fruit and tea and coffee which was so nice of her :) We just had a general chit chat and didn’t do any work haha so that was nice :) I then had the second half of my physics mock, which I desperately wanted to be good questions but they weren’t >_< There was a severe lack of questions on space which was annoying, but I think I might have scraped a B (hopefully). Had my penultimate guitar lesson too! Can’t believe there’s only one more :( I’m not sure who’s more cut up about it, me or my teacher haha, but I’m really going to miss him after five years! Went for a casual shop after school as I realised I had about a zillion things I needed to get for the near future such as cards, hair dye and birthday things for Chris. Only ended up with two unnecessary purchases being these candles (which I love and have given to two people before) and some doughnuts, which were gone within an hour of buying them >_< Such a ridiculous day for food. Physics tonight was fairly successful, have my first free evening of the week tomorrow!

Not finishing this month with a particularly delightful photo - physics revision has sort of dominated today. The first half of the mock wasn’t brilliant, hoping tomorrow goes better as it’s including my better modules :) I won the bet that my physics tutor and I made as well, so I shall have a new bag of M&Ms to tuck into tomorrow heheh ;) Only 15 more days to go before I’ve technically finished my 365 project! And only seven more proper days of school ever!

Despite having the world’s biggest binge, today was really fun :) Barely did any work which wasn’t so good, but only had two lessons. Had our last Chinese lesson today and our teacher wrote Ben and I some messages for the yearbooks we’re making - she complimented me on my YouTube videos and told Ben he was a) her favourite student, b) very clever and c) cute. Such a suck up but I’m going to miss her so much! Love that I have a Chinese message in my yearbook too :D
